TRANSFORMATIVE STRESS MANAGEMENT SEMINAR EMPOWERS WOMEN IN KILANTAAO, SAGÑAY, CAMARINES SUR

In a community outreach effort, the College of Economics and Management (CEM) joined forces with ZONTA Naga City to conduct a Stress Management Seminar in Barangay Kilantaao, Sagñay, Camarines Sur on March 23, 2024, focusing on the well-being of the women in the community.

This collaborative initiative aimed to uplift and empower the active women of Barangay Kilantaao, offering them comprehensive training sessions designed to provide them with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate life’s challenges.

The seminar witnessed the active involvement of the community, under the leadership of Dr. Gladys Rosales, Project Leader of the CLEAR Project at CEM, the ZONTA Naga City Organization, and supported by the PNP R-PSB (Revitalize-Pulis sa Barangay) Team led by Pcpt. Ric Reginales. It was underscored by the generous financial backing from Zonta, which made the event possible.

The selection of this community as the beneficiary of the seminar demonstrates a deep commitment to fostering social welfare and progress. The seminar started with an interactive workshop on Stress Management by Dr. Roda Imperial, President of Zonta. This session equipped participants with critical strategies for managing stress effectively. The event acknowledged the dedication and engagement of the participants in the training sessions with Certificates of Completion.

The day concluded on a high note with engaging parlor games and a communal meal.
