To acknowledge the recent feat of the 58 passers of the Agriculturist Licensure Examination 2024, CBSUA, led by the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, held a Recognition and Testimonial Ceremony on December 16, 2024.
The celebration commenced with a thanksgiving mass presided by the university chaplain, Rev. Fr. Rolando B. Canonce.
Opening the programme proper is Dr. Emma Jarcia, the Program Chairperson of BSA. She warmly welcomed all the passers, their parents and guardians, the CANR faculty, and the members of the attending administrative council. She also took the moment to express her pride for the batch for their commendable standing, breaking the middling examination performance of the university in recent years.
Atty. Dominador F. Faurillo, the VP for Admin and Finance, representing the University President, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, gave an inspirational speech before the passers. He congratulated the newly-licensed agriculturists of the university and recognized their efforts in achieving the significant accomplishment. He also praised the role of the parents and guardians who also have contributed to the success of their students.
Representatives from each program specialization shared their journey and experiences toward securing their license. All have conveyed their hardship, personal struggles, and hurdles that went their way as they prepare for the examination. They eventually thanked the college, the University Review Center, and the University for their unparalleled support. After the sharing, all passers were awarded with certificates of commendation.
Ending the programme is Ceremonial Toast, led by the Dean of CANR, Prof. Edlynne Kaith R. Manlangit who wished the passers of their continued succession whichever field they intend to pursue after securing their license.
This celebration demonstrates CBSUA’s commitment to producing licensed professionals most especially in the field of agriculture, being its flagship program.
