The CBSUA-Pili Faculty Union convened for its General Assembly on December 17, 2024, at the Alvaro Rabina Hall Auditorium, presided over by Dr. Charlie P. Nacario, President of CBSUA-Pili Faculty Union. The event not only served as a platform for discussing the union’s updates and plans but also provided an opportunity to honor the dedicated faculty members retiring this year.
A significant moment of the event was the oath-taking ceremony of new faculty members, symbolizing the continued growth and renewal of the faculty body. The new members pledged to uphold the values and mission of the institution and the union, further strengthening the academic community.
A financial report was presented by Dr. Melinda Pan, offering a detailed account of the Faculty Union’s financial standing, which was well-received by the attendees. Dr. Pan’s report highlighted the progress made in various funding initiatives to support faculty development.

In line with the union’s governance processes, the election of new officers was scheduled but was postponed to a later date. This decision allows for further preparation and ensures the election process aligns with the faculty’s needs and expectations.

Each retiree was presented with a certificate of appreciation, a token of gratitude, and cash incentives in acknowledgment of their years of dedication and service to the academic community.
