The ‘Re-Invigorating Skills in Education for Multi-grade Teachers’ (RISE4MGT) program organized a training session for Multi-grade Teachers in the Pili East and West Districts on November 10, 2023 with a focus on developing Instructional Materials (IMs). The event featured speakers covering Agriculture, Bikol Culture, English, Filipino, and Science.
Experts like Dr. Melchora Abonal, Dr. Leopold Transona, Mr. John Kelly Alpapara, Dr. Myleen Balderas, and Prof. Mary Grace Polvoriza enriched the event by sharing practical insights on integrating Agriculture, Bikol Culture, English, Filipino, and Science into teaching, creating a well-rounded educational experience.
Teachers were challenged to integrate these topics into their lesson plans, promoting practical and engaging teaching methods. Prof. Ana Vera Hugo, Dr. Christopher Dacer, and Ms. Cristia Shiena Amparo-Tubale led the session, encouraging hands-on learning to enhance classroom experiences.
