On April 12, 2024, the Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) from CHED RO V visited CBSUA to assess the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) program.
Dr. Geronimo A. Buenavente, Ph.D., Education Supervisor II, Technical Staff in charge of the program, led the assessment. Dr. Buenavente evaluated the program’s curriculum, faculty qualifications, facilities, and resources. The Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering’s faculties and staff, headed by the Dean of the College of Engineering and Food Science (CEFS), Engr. Karen Mae R. Lim, provided all the necessary documents and facilities to ensure a smooth assessment process.
The evaluation’s findings highlighted areas that need improvement, and the College and Top Management pledged to address them based on the RQAT’s recommendations.
