On March 24, 2023, the Council of Deans for Teacher Education General Assembly 2023 (CODTE) was held at Ysabelleβs Function Hall, Tahao Road, Legazpi City, with the theme “Teaching Profession: Re-branding for Change and Relevance Delving on Research for Capacity Building.” The event was attended by deans and faculty members from the Teacher Education Departments of CBSUA.
Dr. Elmer De Leon was the keynote speaker, and he emphasized the importance of teachers’ attitudes towards their profession and research. He also highlighted the need to uplift the morale of the teaching profession. The participants were engaged and took part in discussions on capacity building and research in the teaching profession.
The event was a testament to the commitment of the academic community towards improving the quality of education in the Philippines.
