Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), through the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, took a significant step in addressing the shortage of medical professionals in Camarines Sur with a consultation meeting for the Doctor of Medicine Program held on April 23, 2023, at Villa Caceres Hotel, Naga City.
The event was attended by professionals from the medical industry all over Bicol, who came together to discuss the pressing need for quality and affordable medical programs in the region. The consultation meeting aimed to gather valuable insights and recommendations from the medical community to help CBSUA design a program that meets the needs of the community.
Dr. Cris Zulueta, the Dean of La Consolacion College of Medicine, served as the resource speaker, sharing her expertise and experiences in the medical field with the attendees. The Doctor of Medicine Program is one of CBSUA’s newest offerings, with the goal of producing highly skilled and compassionate medical professionals who can serve the healthcare needs of the region.
