In a bid to provide comprehensive information on government services and benefits, the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) held a General Orientation for its teaching and non-teaching personnel on May 28, 2024, at the CBSUA Student Atrium, organized by the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance through the Office of the Human Resource Management and Development, aimed to enhance awareness and understanding of the benefits available to university staff.
The orientation featured presentations by invited resource persons and representatives from key government agencies, including the Social Security System (SSS), the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG Fund. Each representative provided detailed discussions on the range of services and benefits offered by their respective agencies, ensuring that CBSUA personnel are well-informed about their entitlements and the processes involved in availing them.
In addition to the talks, the event also hosted booths from these agencies, along with various insurance companies and banks. These booths were set up to facilitate further inquiries and provide immediate assistance to those in need. Personnel had the opportunity to engage directly with agency representatives, clarifying any doubts and getting personalized advice regarding their specific situations.
