To gain significant insights from CBSUA-College of Economics and Management and College of Arts and Sciences in terms of curriculum preparation and implementation practices, the Bicol University Guinobatan Campus met with the faculty of the Colleges to do a benchmarking on its programs on March 27, 2023, at the Eco Café.
The purpose of the visit is in relation to BU-Guinobatan Campus’ possible offering of additional programs such as the Bachelor of Science in Tourism major in Agro-Tourism, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering, and Bachelor of Science in Development Communication.
The benchmarking activity opened with a message from Dr. Gladys G. Rosales, Dean of CEM. Dr. Ana E. Mirana, VP for Academic Affairs, also gave a message to the guests. After this, an audio-visual presentation about the College of Economics and Management was played to give the guests an overview of the activities of the college.
The sharing of best practices of the CEM and CAS commenced, as facilitated by Mr. Enrique Antonio F. Villamor, the Chairperson of the Department of Tourism Management. A round table discussion occurred among the CBSUA-CEM & CAS and BU-Guinobatan faculty. Dr. Clerino Llesol, the Campus Administrator, closed the programme with his closing remarks.
