Faculty and student participants from ADNU, CSPC, and CBSUA attended the DICT and BeeCall TBI STEP UP Roadshow event on August 11, 2022, at the Ciriaco N. Divinagracia Hall of CBSUA for the Roadshow leg in this university, where they learned about startups, technology business incubation, the STEP UP Acceleration Project and their innovativeness.
No other than the DICT Provincial Officer for Camarines Sur, Ms. Pinky Laysa-Nepomuceno, graced the event with CBSUA President Dr. Albert Naperi and CBSUA Vice President for Research and Innovation Dr. Monet Ramirez in attendance after giving their inspirational messages. The event highlighted its hackathon segment, where participants showcased their entrepreneurial savvy by ideating tech businesses and concocting their value propositions in so short a time.
Misters Jun Ocol and Jude Buelva of BeeCall TBI delivered the talks and activities to the delight of the participants. To cap the event, Kenneth Del Carmen, taking from his rite of passage into technopreneurship, showcased his brainchild of a business – Servisit – to the audience, who found themselves challenged to bring their innovative ideas to the marketplace.
