On March 7, 2024, the CHEd Region V Quality Assurance Team, led by Dr. Michael Bibon and Dr. Raul Bradecina, visited the College of Development Education and College of Agriculture and Natural Resources to evaluate their proposed Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd) Program, focusing on majors in Agricultural Crops Production and Animal Production.
University President Dr. Alberto Naperi and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Emerson Bergonio expressed strong support for the program during the evaluation.
Dr. Melinda Pan, Dean of the College of Development Education, along with Dr. Kennedy Beltran and Prof. Mary Grace Polvoriza, thanked the faculty members for their assistance during the evaluation. The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, particularly the Animal Science and Plant Science departments, Organic Agriculture Center, and Agriville, also played a crucial role in facilitating the visit.
The evaluation resulted in a positive outcome, with the University receiving a ‘highly passed’ rating.
