On its first day, different cultures in the Philippines became the highlights of the event. There were plenary talks conducted daily by the invited speakers who shared inspirational messages focusing on education, innovation, and entrepreneurship. This year’s theme is focused on “Promoting Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Culture, and Arts for National Development and Global Competitiveness” with the tagline, #WeAreSUC (Sustained Excellence, Unified Efforts, Competitive Standards)
The event was conducted to commemorate the anniversary of CHED and the National Higher Education Day and recognize its stakeholders’ contribution to the development of higher education in the Philippines. This also became a venue to showcase not only the innovation of products but also the presentation of different talents and arts produced by higher education. Also present at the event is the President of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC), Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, and the House Majority Leader; Hon. Ferdinand Martin G.
