As an advocate of animals’ health and welfare, the Venerable Knight Veterinarians Fraternity and Venerable Lady Veterinarians Sorority- Mu Chapter conducted an activity on appropriate vaccination, surgery, and other farm practices to animals on 28 September 2019 at the Naga City Hall.
Dubbed as ‘World Animal Celebration: Vaccination and Castration’, the activity aimed to uplift the Veterinary profession, to expose the members of the organization in the early Veterinary Practices, and to help improve the welfare of animals
Making the activity possible were the participation of the fur parents (pet owners) who showed interest in sustaining animal health care and the cooperation of VKV-VV Officers and Members, Senior and Junior Clinicians of CBSUA, CVM Department along with the Naga City Veterinary Office.
The participating local government and the stakeholders of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture-College of Veterinary Medicine did not only make this activity a pioneer of this kind of training but also became the avenue for such operations that support community consciousness and education in the area of animal support and welfare.
