A Training on Urban Organic Vegetable Production was conducted at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish Church last October 23-24, 2021.
The activity was spearheaded by the Organic Agriculture Center, CBSUA, headed the center director Lily John B. Casimiro as part of the Church-Based Extension Program of the center. The training was participated by the PTA members of the Little Therese Pariochial School and some parishioners of the church headed by the parish priest Rev. Fr. Rolando Canonce and School Principal Bro. John Oliver Delantar. Faculty members from the Department of Plant Science, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Mr. Francis Leo Loberanes and Ms. Dianne Dindy Orit served as speakers during the training.
Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials, seed packets and garden tools from the DA RFU-5 and DA-ATI 5 were distributed during the training.
