The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority-Sorsogon National Agricultural School (TESDA-SNAS) visited Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) to benchmark the universityβs best practices and state-of-the-art learning facilities in implementing flexible learning delivery on October 21, 2022 at the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning.
The Vice President for Admin and Finance, Atty. Dominador Faurillo formally welcomed the delegates in the university when he delivered his welcome message. Afterwhich, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ana Mirana gave a general walk-through of the universityβs programs and initiatives in addressing the needs of the changing learning modalities during the pandemic.
Engr. Julie Ann Quicay, a faculty from the College of Engineering and Food Science shared with the guests the CBSUA Virtual Learning Portal. She discussed the features and capabilities of the LMS and described how it has helped in the delivery of lessons during the pandemic. To further enrich Engr. Quicayβs discussion, Dr. Cherry Love Montales, a faculty of the College of Development Education gave a comprehensive discussion on the specifics of how the VLP is used.
The program then proceeded with the open forum where a substantial exchange of questions and answers took place. ICT In-Charge, Mr. Daniel Serillano was invited to answer questions on the technical aspects of the VLP.
SNAS is thankful to CBSUA for the accommodation and for imparting knowledge to them. In addition, SNAS looks forward to future partnerships with CBSUA.
