University President, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, talked to the Student Interns from Israel during the courtesy call at the Office of the President on 16 November 2020.
It can be recalled that the student interns from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources had their one-year internship in Israel which started September 2019.
With the onset of COVID 19 pandemic, the students experienced difficulty. CBSUA thru the leadership of Pres. Naperi immediately addressed the said concern by providing aid in repatriating the students from the abovementioned country and in observing safety health protocols while they were in quarantine.
Student-Interns expressed their gratitude to the University as it did not only provide the necessary knowledge they need which they used during the Internship and the opportunity to practice their skills and gain more learning but it also gave them support in order to go back to Philippines safely.
Agrostudies Internship Coordinator, Mr. Joseph Nieva, assured the President that the team shall be leaders in sharing their knowledge, skills, and technologies gained in the Extension Services Division radio program as challenged by the institution.
Internships and On-the-Job training today are suspended due to the pandemic.
