The Department of Environment and Natural Resources- Office of the CENR Officer, partnered with CBSUA Resilience Center, Pili Campus College of Arts and Sciences- Environmental Science (ES) Program Faculty and Student Officers, and CBSUA Sipocot Campus Criminology Department Faculty members to respond and participate in the Worldβs WetLands Day Celebration at Cabusao Critical Habitat Area, Biong, Cabusao, Camarines Sur on 2 February 2021.
The activity served as an avenue for the clean-up drive and initial talk on possible collaborations with DENR Sipocot.
Along with the Resilience Center Director, Prof. Philip Talay are ES Program Chairperson, Dr. Gertudis Gerlie Jaucian, League of Ecologists (LOE) Adviser, Prof. Marilyn A. Siguenza, Prof. Ginalyn Sabroso, and Prof. Nasser Posadas and CBSUA-Sipocot Faculty members, College of Criminology Dean, Prof. Gerry A. Bongalos, Prof. Jeaneth J. Pailano, Prof. Nanies Makababa, Prof. Crissa Mel S. Baleta, Prof. Prof. Emmarie R. Paredes, and Prof. Joey Manzanillo.
Student-participants were selected senior students who like the faculty members subjected themselves to University health and safety protocols.
