Commencing the second day of the series of activities of Filipino and Belgian delegates of SIP 2023, a lecture series was held at the CBSUA Auditorium and round table discussions at the Atrium on January 31, 2023.
The delegates attended a lecture series featuring Filipino and Belgian partners. Key topics on Sustainable Agriculture, Climate Change and Resiliency, and Entrepreneurship were discussed by Prof. Christian Genova II, Prof. Phillip N. Talay, and Prof. Cherrie Prelle De Guzman respectively. After which, lectures from the Belgian partners took place. Design Thinking was discussed by Becky Verthé and Jurgen Ceuppens. Context Analyze and Interviewing Techniques was discussed by Anne-Marie Berghman. Lastly, Lies Verstraete talked about Interdisciplinary and Intercultural teamwork.
In the afternoon, delegates gathered at the atrium and met their group mates for the different cases they will be working on. The round table discussions became a venue of ideas, suggestions, and possible solutions for the cases.
