Hours before the official start of SIP 2023, six professors from Belgium, together with the director of Extension Services Division of CBSUA, Dr. Vladimir Foronda, huddled and attended the courtesy call from the University President, Dr. Alberto Naperi. The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture will serve as the main host of this yearβs South Intensive Program (SIP).
The SIP 2023 is an intensive exchange program that will be participated by 48 students from Belgium (24) and the Philippines HEIs (24). Four (4) higher education institutions (HEIs) from the Philippines are involved in this gathering, namely: CBSUA, Saint Maryβs University (SMU), Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU), Isabela State University (ISU), and 2 institutions from the Province of West Flanders, Belgium, namely: VIVES University of Applied Science and the Howest University of Applied Science.
The said program will commence on January 30, 2023, and will end on February 11, 2023 at Central Bicol State University of Agriculture-Pili Campus.
