Central Bicol State University of Agriculture- College of Development Education spearheaded the CBSUA Laboratory High Schools’ Seminar-Workshop on MATATAG Curriculum themed “Relearning and Upskilling with MaTaTag Curriculum” on 3 September 2024.
Curriculum Implementation Division Chief of SDO Camarines Sur, Dr. Mariben D. Berja, served as resource speaker on Exploring the Landscape of DepEd MaTaTag Curriculum and the Junior High SChool Curriculum Guides in different subjects discussing the bird’s eyeview of the new curriculum being implemented and its basis, the enhancement of K to 12 Curriculum as well as the essential competencies to be developed among the learners. Former Curriculum and Instruction Division Director, Dr. Myra Luz M. Homillano shared her first-hand experience in crafting learning packages aligned to MaTaTag Curriculum and served as a critic among the presentations of initially crafted learning plans of the participants.
Laboratory High School faculty members led by their respective Coordinators from Calabanga, Sipocot, and Pili Campuses, Deans of the College of Education of Pasacao and Calabanga, and CDE Dean, and other College Faculty members attended the said seminar-workshop, having new perspective in delivering quality education in line with the current demands of the Philippine Basic Education. | 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘒𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯 𝘉.
