The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture held the blessing and turnoverof the Hydro/Aqua Greenhouse to the College of Engineering and Food Science (CEFS) at 9 a.m. on March 14, 2022, to mark the kick-off of the CEFS week-long celebration of its 18th anniversary as a college, from March 14-21, 2022.
The blessing was led by Rev. Fr. Rolando B. Canonce, the University Chaplain of CBSUA, after the thanksgiving mass. The event was officiated by Dr. Alberto Naperi, the University President, and Dr. Jennifer M. Ebona, Dean of CEFS, and graced by Hon. Rodel P. Tornilla, the Regional Executive Director of the Department of Agriculture, RFO-V.
The rest of the days will be devoted to various CEFS-related activities. On March 15, the CEFS Development Planning Workshop will be held at Nesting Place, Bigaas, Calabanga, Camarines Sur. On March 16-17, there will be students’ online and virtual activities, vis-à -vis the CEFS Professional Practices Enhancement Seminar-Workshop via Zoom, at the Food and Feed Testing Laboratory. On March 18, there will be team building and sharing of experiences and best practices of seasoned faculty members at Itangon Beach, Bula, Camarines Sur. From March 21 onwards, classroom observations are scheduled.
