On June 27, 2022, the College of Development Education administered by Dr. Raquel Reapor, in partnership with the Extension Services Division headed by Dr. Vladimir Foronda, held a Root-Cause Roundtable Discussion Cum Workshop for Research-Based Extension Programs of the CDE at the Ecotel Boardroom.
Its main purpose according to Dean Raquel Reapor is to create strategies to strengthen the extension programs of the college as well as to craft a catch plan in harmonizing the research and extension of CDE. Other than the substantial inputs of Dr. Foronda on each of the programs of the College especially on the college’s targets, Prof. Arthur Estrella, the Head of the Program Development and Review Unit of the Research Division, also furnished and presented frameworks on how the College can effectively realize its advocacies for the communities especially to schools in the region.
The said event was attended by the extension implementers with 2022 approved extension programs from the College of Development Education who in the end had a realization on the strides they must create for the proper implementation of their projects.
