Promoting and empowering student’s engagement in upholding holistic development and wellness toward a healthy lifelong learning environment, the CBSUA Supreme Student Council (SSC) and other academic organizations participated in the 11th Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services (PAPSAS) Interactive Youth Forum on 10-12 October 2019 at La Carmela de Boracay, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan.
The 11th PAPSAS Interactive Youth Forum highlighted the theme “Harnessing Student Leadership toward Holistic Development and Wellness,” that provided an opportunity for the participants to individually and collectively share models of practice in attaining student’s holistic and wellness. It helped student leaders to equip with knowledge and understanding in handling wellness related issues as well as to engage in collaborative programs geared toward wellness. It also established Youth network that will support the advocacy of educational institutions in addressing wellness related issues.
The said forum was participated in by CBSUA-SSC leaders namely: Katrine Fatima Aragon and Mariflor Nanale who won 1st place in Digital Storytelling with other student-leaders from other SUCs, Jamaica Regencia, Jude Young, Sheila Mae Diana, Jeremy Bringino and Jorjohn Sabio together with Dr. Rene N. Rabacal.
Other participants were different student-leaders,advisers and guidance counselors who are practitioners of student affairs in their respective schools all throughout the country.
