On April 27-28, 2024 the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture Research and Innovation Centers participated in the Food as Medicine Exhibit launching program at the National Irrigation Administration Regional Office V Event Hall, Panganiban Drive, Naga City.
The event aims to advocate organic food production as a strategic shift to ensure healthy living and a safe environment. As such, the understanding and appreciation of organic farming and consumption of organic foods need to be embraced by the community. With this, the RI centers showcased CBSUAโs products in organic agriculture, stingless bee products and by-products, food science products, complementary food facility products, turmeric, taro, and the University Business Affairs Office products that were represented by Ms. Joanne Bibal-Panti of Plant Genetic Resources and Research Laboratory and Mr. Alvir E. Bausa of the Regional Apiculture Center as official university exhibitors.
This was organized by the Ateneo de Naga High School Pillars โ74 in partnership with the Department of Agriculture RFO 5, Agricultural Training Institute, Camarines Sur Medica Society and CamSur Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event was highlighted by the presence of former Vice President Atty.
