On March 14, 2024, the Provincial Government of Camarines Norte, through the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian conducted a 1-day Training on Beekeeping with the technical assistance of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture Regional Apiculture Center held at the 3rd Floor Audio Visual Room Provincial Capitol Building, Daet, Camarines Norte.
The training aimed to strengthen beekeeping enterprise in the province through knowledge and expertise on bee propagation, management, conservation and bee product development that will warrant the production of quality products for local and global markets and provide a sustainable livelihood program for the local beekeepers and farmers of the province.
The aforesaid training catered to approximately 30 participants from the municipalities of 1st & 2nd district of Camarines Norte. Hands-on skills demonstration was conducted at the Arsenโs Farm Ville, Daet, Camarines Norte. After the training, continuous supervision and monitoring will be undertaken relative to the progress of their project to ensure the success and efficiency of the stingless bees.
