Central Bicol State University of Agriculture and Local Government Unit of Ragay, Camarines Sur finalized the Memorandum of AgreementΒ on Technical Assistance Program (TAP) on 7 May 2021.
Ragay LGU needs assistanceΒ from the university experts on some of its Research, Development and Extension programs to name a few (1) establishing Techno Demo Garden/Farm, (2) establishing the OTOP, and (3) developing their Agri-Development Plan among others.
“The Research and Extension works of CBSUA to help in the over-all development of the LGUs in the Region continues through involving and tapping the expertise of the faculty members of the campus and the various research centers is free of charge,” VPRI, Dr. Ramona Isabel Ramirez said in the meeting.
At large, the TAP for LGU Program is building more partnerships within the region to bring technologies and advancement in agriculture as the university aims to be a agricultural research university with global standards and lead innovation, and eventually build sustainable and resilient communities.
With the VPRI wereΒ CBSUA Sipocot Campus Administrator, Prof. Zeus Lositano, Mushroom Center Director, Prof. Arce Bellere, Research Division Director, Dr. Aries Ativo, Resilience Center Director, Prof. Philip Talay, and Research and Extension Services Divisions staff.
The officers present during the meeting-workshop were the Ragay Sanggunian Bayan Members, Municipal Agriculture Officer, Budget Officer, and other LGU Ragay Technical Personnel assigned in the Program.
