CBSUA highlighted one of its extension outputs, “Play, Pray and Pay-It-Forward: Resiliency, Spirituality, and Sustainability in Community Theatre Arts Extension Program.”

Associate Professor Richard G. Castor, faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences from CBSUA-Calabanga, and Associate Professor Rosa U. Cid, both authors of the said paper, bagged the 2nd Place for the Best Paper Award in the said prestigious event.

The paper presented is a product of the Extension Project of the CBSUA-Calabanga Campus entitled “CBSUA CARES (Culture and Arts Toward a Resilient and Empowered Society).” The extension project was implemented from 2020 to 2023 wherein theater arts training and production were provided to the youth of Calabanga and DepEd teachers and learners in their service locality.
