The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture formalizes its collaboration with the Philippine Rural Development Project and the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Unit V through a Memorandum of Agreement for SC 1.2 Project, titled ‘Evaluation of Select Attributes on Growth Performance and Meat Yield Quality of Camarines Native Chicken Reared under Improved Production Systems and Technology‘ on the 7th day of October 2024 at 3F Board Room, CBSUA, Pili, Camarines Sur.
Present in the MOA signing ceremony were Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, President of CBSUA, and Ma’am Adelina A. Losa, Deputy Project Director of PDRP Bicol, on behalf of Dr. Rodel P. Tornilla, Regional Executive Director of the Department of Agriculture, Regional Field Office 5.
This momentous agreement was also witnessed by Ms. Aloha Gigi BaΓ±aria, Chief PMED and I-Plan Component Head, DA RFO 5, Mr. Marianito A. Tesorero, Regional Coordinator of the Livestock and Poultry Program, DA RFO 5, Ma’am Lilia Pasiona, Director of the Regional Apiculture Center, Ms. Edlynne Kaith R. Manlangit, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and Mr. Carlo B. Sabales, Project Leader.
The project addresses certain constraints identified in the Value Chain Analysis for Native Chicken in the Bicol Regionβa study implemented under the Philippine Rural Development Project.
