CBSUA is set to implement a program titled “Boosting the Taro Industry and Indigenous Crops in the Bicol Region.” It consists of 4 projects, three on taro and indigenous crops and one on CBSUA facility enhancement. The Memorandum of Agreement was signed on October 7, 2022, at DIPTC Bldg, PCAARRD, Los Baños Laguna.
It is with a 31 Million fund that will benefit taro farmers and several units of the Research and Innovation Cluster, such as PGPPL, CFPF, Taro Center, and OAC.
The inception meeting is set on the second week of November 2022.
