Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Agricultural and Fisheries Engineering (DA-BAFE) spearheaded a Refresher Course on Testing and Evaluation of Agricultural Machinery in Region V (TEAM-V) last May 16-20, 2022 through a face-to-face means at the Auditorium of the University.
The said training aimed to push through the realization of brining AMTEC in the Bicol Region close to Bicolano farmers. The training provided the participants with in-depth knowledge on the testing and evaluation of agricultural machinery, and developed new certified test engineers in the Bicol Region.
Dr. Alberto Naperi, the university president, AMTEC-UPLB resource persons, BAFE coordinators, ABE participants from RAED-DAFRO V, SUCs in the Bicol Region offering BSABE programs such as CNSC and DEBESMSCAT, and Provincial Agriculture Office of Sorsogon, Catanduanes and CEFS-DABE were present during the said convention.
