CBSUA-CALABANGA HOLDS ORIENTATION SEMINARS TO WELCOME NEW STUDENTS

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) Calabanga Campus welcomed its newest batch of students with a series of orientation seminars held in August 2024. The events aimed to familiarize the freshmen, transferees, and returnees with the university’s services, policies, and academic expectations.

The Student Supreme Council (SSC) organized a three-day orientation seminar on August 14-16, 2024, with the theme “Charting New Adventures: Embracing emotions towards inclusivity and triumphant education.” The event featured information about the university’s services, accredited organizations, campus tours, games, and opportunities for students to connect with each other.

The College of Education (COE) held its orientation seminar on August 20, 2024, focusing on academic expectations, course requirements, and the introduction of faculty and staff. The COE also recognized its top-performing students and discussed the college’s constitutions and by-laws.

Meanwhile, the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) organized a two-day orientation seminar on August 20-21, 2024, with the theme “BINI BEATS: Harmonizing Arts and Sciences.” The seminar included discussions on policies, new modalities, VLP navigation, and course-specific information.

The College of Industrial Technology (COT) conducted its orientation seminar on August 22, 2024, with the theme “Catalyst Of Change: ORSEM 2024 For Industrial Technology Innovators.” The event focused on faculty and staff introductions, policies and guidelines, and student services.
