University Quality Assurance Office thru the ISO Unit in partnership with the BCJA Training and Consultancy conducted the virtual training entitled “IMS 101 – Understanding and Implementing ISO 14001:2015 Standard” via Zoom Conference on 16 April 2021.
The main aim of the said activity is to enable all the participants to learn and understand what ISO 14001: 2015 Standard or the Environmental Management System (EMS) is and how will it be integrated into the current ISO 9001:2015 Standard or the Quality Management System (QMS).
The University continues to engage in being recognized as an institution that abides by International standards. Vice President for Academic Affairs and the ISO Chairperson, Dr. Ana E. Miraña, ISO Vice-Chairperson, Prof. Katrina G. Gepilano, along with the Quality Assurance Team, and University ISO Consultant, Engr. Severino M. Villalon, Jr. spearheaded the activity.
