As Philippines had been warned of the COVID 19 outbreak, the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture prepared immediate action to prevent the spread of the disease.
University Medical Services Department spearheaded the prevention practice against any disease especially the widespread of COVID 19 through thermal scanning. All employees, students, staff and visitors that came in had undergone the said procedure. The University also urged everyone to practice regular hand washing,cover properly mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, avoid close contact with anyone even without showing the symptoms and observe proper hygiene improving immune system.
Other precautionary measures being done by the university to prevent the potential spread of the disease and to protect its community are sanitizing areas in the offices and colleges, providing alcohol at the entrance gate and offices, and visiting campuses to give lectures on COVID 19.
CBSUA community is enjoined to practice the said precautions,spread only news from reliable sources such as the Department of Health to avoid fake news and panic attack.
