On August 22, 2024, the Bicol University – Business Affairs Office visited the University Business Affairs Office of Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) for a collaborative engagement as part of their initiative to update their existing Income Generating Projects (IGPs) guidelines and policies.
Office of the Vice President for Business and External Affairs directors including Ms. Frilliane Mae N. Bicaldo, the Director of University Business Affairs Office, along with Dr. Christopher B. Dacer, Director of Institutional Linkages and Special Projects Office, Dr. Cherry Love B. Montales, Director of International Relations Office and other university personnel were present in the event as they share the best practices of the university in the business area.
The BU-BAO Director, Dr. Rosebe Nacion-Lauraya, together with her colleagues, Mr. Jonel N. Solano, OIC-Business Manager, and Ms. Jessel V. Ogorida expressed their willingness to learn and adapt the business financial guidelines and policies of the university to improve its present process.
The team also visited the Agriville and Learning Hub and other IGPs around the university that produce poultry and livestock products.
The benchmarking not only helps develop the business affairs functions of BU and CBSUA but also open opportunities for collaboration as both SUCs continue to improve their services for their stakeholders.
