BISCAST’s Benchmarking to CBSUA- CDE tagged a success Bicol State College of Applied Science and Technology (BISCAST) which will soon be called Southeast Asian University of Technology engaged in the benchmarking activity to Central Bicol State University of Agriculture-College of Development Education (CBSUA-CDE) on 13 September 2021 via virtual conference. CBSUA’S SUC President IV, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, expressed his well-wishes for the State University and assured it with continuous support while its COE ventures to Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Level IV Accreditation. BISCAST’s College of Education thru its Dean, Dr. Geraldine C. Alvina, coordinated with CDE Dean, Dr. Raquel M. Reapor, for the said activity as the CBSUA’s College now offers programs that passed Level IV, Phase II Accreditation where BEED curricular offering fully complied all requirements attaining its Level IV Status while BSED awaits for the accrediting body’s decision on the appeal. Considering the status of the programs, the BISCAST Faculty and Non-Teaching Staff attentively listened to the sharing of various tips to pass the Level IV, Phase I considered as equally rigorous with Phase II. Dr. Alvina mentioned that their College was very much grateful for the activity exceeded their expectation. CDE Faculty along with the University Librarian, Dr. Rolando P. Oloteo, who were in-charge of the Level IV, Phase I areas served as resource persons in the said activity. BISCAST SUC President II, Dr. Alex H. Navarroza and CBSUA VPAA, Dr. Ana E. MiraΓ±a, also graced the event.
