Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, Philippines conducted the 1st International Webinar on Business and Finance: Gearing Up towards Industry 5.0.
The international webinar was spearheaded by the CBSUA thru the College of Economics and Management (CEM) in partnership with CBSUA-College of Arts and Sciences, Camarines Sur Chamber Of Commerce & Industry Inc. (CSCCII), and Camarines Norte State College (CNSC)-College of Business and Public Administration CNSC- CBPA.
At the opening of the event, President Alberto N. Naperi welcomed more than 250 local and international participants present at the Zoom and FB Live. Dr. Naperi highlighted in his speech the importance of being updated on the current trends in the business and finance scene especially that advances in technology greatly affected our way of life.
To formally mark the partnership of CBSUA and CSCCI, both parties signed the Memorandum of Agreement on their collaboration to provide support and improvement to the local businesses in the province. After which, both parties provided a commitment message respectively.
Prof. Cesar Armando S. Camba Sr., the VPBEA, provided the rationale of the webinar and welcomed the local and international resource speakers. The first pair of speakers talked about Financial Literacy, and Sustainable Finance respectively. The second pair of speakers talked about the Emerging trends in business, and Challenges and opportunities in International Business respectively. All the sessions were followed by open forums that paved the way for the participants to ask further and be enlightened more about the topics discussed.
The webinar was concluded by the Dean of CEM, Dr. Gladys Gomez Rosales, extending her gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the College and University.
