The ISO external audit visit at CBSUA-Calabanga Campus culminated today, December 10, 2024, as a critical milestone in affirming the institutionโs commitment to excellence and compliance with global standards.
Under the meticulous guidance of the TรV-R Audit Team, the audit aimed to evaluate not only processes but the institutionโs overall dedication to quality in education and operations on the campus, the third site of the ISO recertification of Central Bicol State University of Agriculture.
The day commenced with an opening meeting involving top management led by the campus administrator, Dr. Ernesto D. Doloso Jr, and the audit team who outlined the objectives and processes of the visit. The three colleges supervised by its deans and officers-in-charge were instrumental during the classroom observation and curricular scrutiny, reflecting the institutionโs commitment to educational excellence.
The afternoon session focused on operational support areas, where the process owners played important roles in demonstrating compliance with QMS standards across facilities management, research, extension, student services, procurement, and planning. Other offices were also scrutinized for triangulation of findings.
The day concluded with a wrap-up session that ended at 6:40 pm, underscoring a strong alignment of the institution with ISO standards, and reaffirming the institutionโs drive for quality and continuous improvement.
This successful external audit recertification for the campus would not be possible without the meticulous overall leadership and guidance of the Quality Assurance Office headed by Dr. Rosa U. Cid and her team. This was on the second day of the institutional three-day audit in the four campuses of CBSUA.
