Selected faculty members of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, headed by Prof. Jennifer S. Francisco, the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), Dr. Leah V. Carballo, the program chairperson of the BS Biology program, and Dr. Gertrudis Girlie C. Jaucian, the program chairperson of the BS Environmental Science program, were allowed to visit the University of St. La Salle (USLS) at Bacolod City, Negros Occidental on May 16-17, 2022.
Bro. Joaquin S. Martinez, FSC, D. Min, the USLS president, and dr. Rowena V. Banes, RGC, RPsy, the Dean of USLS CAS, shared similar insights on the university’s quest for inclusive and equitable quality education to learn from each other’s best practices promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. Prog. La Vera Sombito, the program Chairperson of BS Biology, accompanied the group in visiting the state-of-the-art laboratory facility, USLS Granda Eco Park, and the USLS Agribusiness Farm.
