The College of Arts and Sciences had its 1st Student Research Colloquium with the theme “Exploring Scientific Methods of Biological and Environmental Science Studies,” last February 7 & 17, 2023 at CND Hall.
Surpassing challenges on laboratory resources and equipment, the BS Biology and BS Environmental Science programs managed to move towards the goal of training students to practice their learned topics and apply them to the conduct of their undergraduate thesis while exploring the broad fields of science.
This series of research colloquia aimed at increasing research capability among BS Biology students and BS Environmental Science students.
Twenty paper presenters from the graduating class of the BS Biology were able to surpass their nervousness and triumphantly shared their undergraduate research with the participants who enthusiastically engaged in the discussion and eagerly asked questions during the open forum session.
To complete the main goal of this activity, we all look forward to the next batch of student presenters, this time coming from the BS Environmental Science program.
On March, 2023 the graduating batch of this program will also share and present their current undergraduate studies emphasizing timely matters on Air, Water, and Land Environment topics which will surely excite you.
