The CBSUA Campuses in its journey towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions to mitigate climate change impacts has incorporated the use of solar panels to infrastracture design in particular to the CBSUA 3storey gender neutral dormitory, and ICT Building in Sipocot Campus. The initiative is projected to use only around 120GJ of energy from low carbon sources in contrast to coal generated electricity source. Furthermore, the CBSUA Pili Campus also started using solar panels to power the hydraulic pump supplying water to crop irrigation. The initiatives are aimed at improving the carbon reduction of the University.
