PPDS PERSONNEL STRENGTHEN BOND IN 2-DAY TEAM-BUILDING ACTIVITY

On June 9-10, 2023, the Physical Plant Development and Services (PPDS) personnel participated in a transformative 2-day team-building activity titled, “Building a Solid Foundation: Strengthening Collaboration among Physical Plan Development and Services (PPDS) Personnel,” in Siruma, Camarines Sur, to enhance collaboration, communication, and teamwork.

The 2-day activity provided an invaluable opportunity for participants to align their efforts with the organization’s goals, discuss progress, and engage in workshops focused on continuous improvement.

Atty. Dominador F. Faurillo, VP for Admin and Finance, delivered the opening remarks. He emphasized the importance of collaboration among the PPDS personnel and set the stage for the following workshops and discussions.

Engr. Dino Jose M. Relativo, PPDS Director, delivered a powerful message highlighting the significance of collaboration in achieving excellence. Engr. Relativo’s speech resonated with the participants, emphasizing the importance of their roles in maintaining and developing the organization’s physical infrastructure.

Moreover, Budget Officer Erick T. Aguimatang, as a guest speaker, presented a range of topics critical to the PPDS team’s success. He emphasized the need to cascade the organization’s quality objectives and initiatives to all team members. The workshop also focused on revisiting the work plan to identify areas for improvement and alignment with the organization’s overarching goals.

The workshop focused on developing and implementing a preventive maintenance plan. Participants actively engaged in group activities and discussions, drawing upon their collective expertise to devise strategies aligned with the work plan and incorporating best practices in PPDS.

After an intensive day of learning and collaboration, participants were allowed to unwind and socialize at an evening party which continued the next day.
