On March 1, 2024, a Send-Off Ceremony was organized by the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Region V to bid farewell to Engr. Luis G. Banua, the Regional Director of the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) Region V, held at the La Piazza Hotel and Convention Center, and was attended by the SUC Presidents, Regional Directors from the Department of Science and Technology and the Commission on Higher Education, as well as the Assistant Regional Director of NEDA and Board Secretaries.
The ceremony was marked by tributes and expressions of gratitude from each institution, as they presented RD Banua with plaques and tokens of appreciation. The event served as a poignant reminder of RD Banua’s significant impact and legacy, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts and minds of those he worked with.
