CVM FORGES MOA WITH FACULTY OF VETERINARY MEDICINE UNIVERSITAS BRAWIJAYA, INDONESIA

The College of Veterinary Medicine of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture finally signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine-Universitas Brawijaya (FVM-UB) located in the city of Malang, East Java, Indonesia on October 24, 2023.

Dr. Ilene B. Mirabeles, faculty member and former Dean of the CVM, represented the institution while Dr. Dyah Ayuh Oktavianie (left), Dean of FVM represented Universitas Brawijaya. The signing of the MOA was held during
the opening program of the 6th International Conference on One Health (ICOH), where Dr. Mirabeles was also one of the invited keynote speakers. The said MOA was planned in 2022 in preparation for the acceptance of inbound students. The college has actively recommended participants for its Virtual International Student Exchange (VISE) Program since 2021. Ms. Sofia Louise C. Zaballa became the first participant from CBSUA in the International Student Inbound Program of FVM-UB after she was awarded as the 1st Best Participant Based on General Evaluation in the 2022 VISE. She had a month-long stay at FVM-UB for their International Student Inbound Program from July 1-31, 2023.
