On May 31, 2024, the CBSUA Sipocot Campus met with Engr. Geronimo A. Buenavente, Ph.D., Education Supervisor II of CHED RO V, at the Office of the University President for a consultative meeting to discuss the compliance of the University’s Engineering Program.
The meeting was led by Dr. Naperi and included key persons in the program. Participants included Prof. Rowel M. Castuera (Campus Administrator- Sipocot), Mrs. Aileen F. Paitan (Chairperson, College of Industrial Technology), and the Engineering Program’s Technical Working Group (TWG)ย consisted by Prof. Allan D. Taupa, TWG Chairperson, Engineering Program; and membersย Engr. Ian Gerald M. Lontok and Ms. Rosalie Marie V. Zuniega. Gracing also this activity is the incoming Dean of the college, Engr. Gene O. Montaรฑa, PME.
The meeting aimed to ensure the Engineering Program adheres to all requirements and standards set by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Discussions likely centered on curriculum, faculty qualifications, facilities, and other areas crucial for program accreditation.
