With the desire to be accredited as Level II in the PRIME-HRM of the Civil Service Commission, CBSUA-HRMO sought the assistance of Naga City Special Education Center on the facilitation of its program on the Equal Employment Opportunity Principle (EEOP) for qualified applicants who are Persons with Special Needs (PSNs), sealed through a Memorandum of Understanding signed on April 12, 2023.
Present in the MOU signing are Atty. Dominador F. Faurillo, VP for Admin and Finance; Dr. Ana Mirana, VP for Academic Affairs; Mr. Luigi Lorenzo Razal, Admin Officer V-HRMD Officer; Atty. Deonalaine Ivy Figura, University Legal Officer and PRIME HRM-RSP Committee Chairperson; Dr. Juliet Cruzat-Curva, School Head of Naga City Special Education Center; and Dr. Jerome Baldemoro, Senior Education Program Specialist.
Through their SPED teachers, the Naga City Special Education Center shall primarily assist in conducting interviews and orientation of applicants with special needs. On the other hand, CBSUA shall provide compensation for the services rendered by the teachers and give capability learning and development programs, if needed. This partnership also opens outreach and extension services to the SPED pupils of the school.
