On November 25, 2023, CBSUA joined the Malacañang Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in connection with the National Parol Making Contest, themed ‘Isang Bituin, Isang Mithiin,’ at the Kalayaan Grounds, Malacañang Palace.
Under the leadership of Erica M. Gonzales-BSEd4 Filipino and three of her members, namely Gregorio Jr. Relos-BSEd Filipino3, Violito Escaña-BSEd2 Mathematics, and Ma. Francia Balcena- BSEd3 Science, who won 1st place during the inter-campus design competition, representing the whole CBSUA in the nationals.
Behind the contest, the parol became successful with the support of the University President, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi; Dr. Christopher Dacer, Director for Institutional Linkages and Special Projects; Dr. Kristine May C. Regaspi, Campus Administrator-Pasacao Campus; Dr. Elma A. Rosales, Office of Student Affairs and Services Coordinator; Ms. Jemirah Blessing Cantoria, Office of Student Affairs and Services Director; and Mr. Arnold B. Yuta, Campus Driver.
The “Parol nin Pagkasararo” is a manifestation of CBSUA’s commitment to supporting the different programs, projects, and activities of the Philippine Government as it aims to bring positive changes to uplift the lives of Filipinos.
