On February 21, 2024, the Local Government Unit of Goa, Camarines Sur invited the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture Regional Apiculture Center for a Training Seminar on Stingless Beekeeping, held at the Goa Sports Complex, Camarines Sur.
The seminar was graced by the Hon. Mayor Marcel S. Pan who gave an inspiring message for the participants and the members of the Sangguniang Bayan.
The lecture series was given by the RAC Team led by Ms. Lilia C. Pasiona, Director; Mr. Edmundo B. Casaul, Jr., Coordinator for Technology Commercialization; Mr. Roberto R. Buenaagua, Apiarist; and Mr. Alvir E. Bausa, Administrative Staff. This was followed by hands-on colony handling at the farm of Mr. Edilberto Abad, the owner of Hagahag Farm in Sitio Apog, Brgy. Aroro, Goa, Camarines Sur.
