In pursuit of becoming an agricultural university of global standards, the CBSUA-RSD conducted a comprehensive review of research and development proposals for the 2024 funding and implementation held on January 25-26, 2024 at Ciriaco N. Divinagracia Hall with Session 1 focusing on the Education and Social Category and Session 2 for Agriculture and Environment-related Category.
The Technical Working Group, consisting of esteemed individuals including Dr. Marilyn B. Balderas, Dr. Emma G. Jarcia, Dr. Celerino B. Llesol, Jr., and Julius L. De Villa, engaged in a thorough examination of 39 proposals for Agriculture and Environment-Related Category. Simultaneously, at RSD Conference Room, the Technical Working Group, including Dr. Charlie P. Nacario, Dr. Ana E. Miraรฑa, and Dr. Jayson M. Daรฑas, diligently reviewed 29 proposals for Education and Social Science Category.
A total of 68 proposals were presented during the two sessions. The distribution across colleges are as follows: College of Development Education – 19 proposals; College of Economics and Management – 8 proposals; College of Arts and Sciences – 8 proposals – College of Engineering and Food Sciences – 8 proposals; College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences – 11 proposals; and Sipocot Campus – 14 proposals.
The diversity of proposals reflects the institution’s commitment to advancing research in various fields, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and addressing contemporary challenges.
