Functions

The Program Management Support Unit shall: (a) Responsible for the overall financial management of the program; (b) Monitor physical and scientific milestones of project implementation as basis for fund allocation; (c) Facilitates fund releases and logical support to projects; (d) Prepares MFO status report in context with funding allocations and maintains financial database; (e) Assists the VP for REPED and Research Director in R&D fund programming and budgeting; (f) Provides secretariat support to the University Research Extension Council (UREC) and the TWGs; (g) Assists in the conduct of in-house reviews; and, (i) Provides daily administrative support to other technical staff of the URO.
