UST MANILA PROFESSORS VISIT CBSUA’S REGIONAL APICULTURE CENTER

On January 7, 2024, professors from the University of Sto. Tomas, Manila visited the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture-Regional Apiculture Center.

Their visit aims to learn about the university’s Stingless Beekeeping Technology and its product development. They are also looking for a possibility to tie up with the CBSUA RAC for future research endeavors on the stingless bee propolis.

The team was headed by Assoc. Prof. Oliver B. Villafores, PhD of the Department of Biochemistry, Research Center for Natural and Applied Science; Prof. Ross Vasquez, Faculty of Pharmacy; and Assoc. Prof. Agnes L. Castillo, PhD., Coordinator – Internationalization Committee.
